June 10 Wednesday 2009 7:30am 48'(9)
We leave thunder Bay for Sault Ste. Marie 627m(713k) Nicknamed the Soo it is a city on the St. Marys river in Ottawa. It is a lovely town despite our preconceived idea of it being nothing but a steel producing town. Last time we were there we took the boat ride on the locks both the American side and the Canadian side. A very worth while trip. We pass more beautiful lake country and finally get to see 2 female moose. It rained for about 1 hour then sun and clouds the rest of the day. We stay at a KOA $43 a night thankfully it has free WIFI and cable TV. Arrive at 3:15 61'(16) Just in time to put up our feet and have a scotch. The fellow next door helps up with tomorrows trip. Bill phones the ferry and makes reservations for Manitoulin Island. We are taking the back way to Niagara Falls. All new territory for us. We have about 30 mosquitoes on our screen door trying to get in. What pest.
REMEMBER It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
