 Sherri brings Carter and Madison on the ferry to Bowen Island. She leaves the car in the parking lot for 3 days and we head to Center Bay on the South end of Gamerier Island.

Saturday we went to Bill's school chums Don and Ann's 50 anniversary. It was fun to reminisce. Sunday we went to the swap meet in Cloverdale for the first time. Wow what a lot of stuff. I bought a cornering wear dish for $5 and a ceramic casserole for $8 then we went to Sherri's . We took the spitfire for a spin. Gerry cooked a delicious steak for Bill's 71^s

July 19 Friday 2013

We hit the AAA health insurance for this winter as Bill is on another pill. Turns out it is not that much more than last year. Our 49 anniversary was yesterday. Bill takes me to Royal Oaks on Fraser Hwy less than 10 minutes walk from the house. We are off to the boat for 2 days. Sunday Sherri is having us for dinner as it is Bill's 71^st birthday.

July 18 Wednesday 2013

We leave Tuesday for Clemintine up Indian Arm. No internet, no phone. 5 boats spent the night , Wednesday 4 boats, Thursday 5 boats spend the night. Saturday and Sunday is a full house- 15 boats. We get to watch a rescue at Granet falls just across the way. A hovercraft, 2 helicopters, and 2 police boats all come to help. Apparently some one was sliding down the falls and lost control and damaged his back and leg. A line rescue was needed. Sunday all but 3 boats left. I lost my night game player as Hudson and Dina left too they had generator problems. Bill put his dingy down and it started on the 3^rd pull. He was very happy. We took it for a spin at the end of the inlet. We are entertained by a helicopter dragging something on a swing ( probably fuel) to a camp at the end of the arm. He comes and goes every half hour . They seemed to work all day.

Wednesday we watch as a helicopter drops 5 men onto a tower. They work all morning. You wouldn't catch me up there. We head back to the club after lunch. A great week.

Yes we are finally on our way up to Indian Arm, first time out of the shed this year. most of our doctors and eye appointments are done. I will not have internet service at Clemmy. Weather is very promising.

A great day spent with family. First we went for a train ride. The old interurban that went from Cloverdale to Sulivan Station. It took 1 hour return. Next we drove downtown Vancouver to China town for the beautiful Yat-Sen Chinese gardens. What a lovely display. We see Koi, turtles, and frogs for wild life . Many beautiful plants and sculptures. We have a picnic lunch and end our day with geleto yum

good news

July 3 2013 Wednesday

good news We have been going to many doctors to see why Bill is so tired all the time. The heart specialist said he has a problem with his cornorory artery as it is not letting the blood flow freely so they are putting him on a pill to speed the flow. He said it was OK to go boating and to travel in the US. Hopefully that solves his tiredness. We can now go ahead with our winter plans. We both still have eye appointments, Bill has an arthritis dr. Appointment yet.
