reporting from Center Bay on Gamier Island. After a horrendous thunder and lightening storm Thursday night with torrential rain we are now basking in sunlight. 26 boat are here Friday for the long weekend more expected today. Exciting news from Shannon and Ethan they phoned to say we could watch CV9 go through the Panama canal on a web cam. Cool Then Sherri phoned to say their offer on a 32' Bayliner was excepted and sea trials are Monday so we will go hack to the club Sunday.

We are back after a fun 4 days with the twins. Overnight sleep over without mom. It rained the first day so didn't go boating. Rain stopped so we got on the sea bus and went to the cruise ship terminal. It cleared up Friday so we went to Clemmy up Indian Arm. We had fun collecting small crabs. Star fish and banana slugs. Back to the club Sunday. Bill has an ultra sound Tuesday

REMEMBER-letting the cat out of the bag is a whole lot easier than putting it back in.

August 13 Tuesday 2013

We headed back for doctors appointments only to find both of our appointments were cancelled and rescheduled for September. We came back to Vancouver for nothing. Sherri,Gerry and Bill went boat hunting as Sherri and family are ready to do the boating scene. Sherri was able to get a boat slip right across from us at the club. . I spent the day baking cookies 3 different kinds and also rice crispy squares . I haven't baked like this in a long time. What grandchildren can make you do. We are babysitting tonight and will move onto the boat Wednesday as Sherri will bring the twins Thursday and we will head up Indian Arm until Sunday.
