Lets try again as I ran out of time in the library. (I didn't know I was on a time limit) I am now in the Blythe college library. What a beautiful new building. We are in Ehrenberg Arizona on the Colerado river. Blythe is across the river. We are doing the Quartzite thing. A huge swap meet and Rv show. My computer was heating up as the fans were not working. It just shut down, They say it is not worth fixing so will look into a new one in Palm Springs. We are due there Jan 22. in Indio.
Sorry I haven't posted but my computed bit the dust and is unusable. I am at the Blythe library

Sunday January 13- We had the last of our dentist appointments Tuesday. 2 caps( 1 each) cleaning and a check up came to $580 total They had difficulty with me as they were putting the new cap in he dropped it and it broke in half so had to return in 2 hrs. We had alittle rain during the night. Temperatures are down to 48 (8) at night and 78 (25) daytime. I have been passing time helping make quilts for the cardboard shack town in Mexico. Some quilts go to the hospital and the fire department too. I think they made 600 quilts last year. Paul and Edith introduced us to Mr. Lou a Chinese buffet (huge). We went for a late lunch $5.95 each. Ruth Ann and I went for a ladies day shopping. Saturday Paul and Edith invited us out to Senitors Wash reserve to go kayaking. What fun. This is a BLM land you pay $15 for 2 weeks dry camping. We came across 2 wild burro’s while there.

This is the eagle I painted on a vest for Jim Spires our wagon master on our Australia New Zealand trip

Street fair

January 6, 2008 Sunday. We are in Yuma, well not really as the RV park is just outside Winterhaven on the California side. We are on Arizona time ( 1 hr ahead) Algadones is less than 10 min. away from our park. We get our teeth cleaned and checked. Both of us need a crown so we get fitted and will return Tuesday. Our first caravan friends( in 1999) Cliff and Ruth Ann are renting a park model for one week in the park we are in. We are having a good time reminiscing. We go back and forth to Yuma a few times checking out the flea markets. One on 4000s 4th Avenue and the other on Avenue 4e South 32 street. Sunday we tried to go on a train ride but we found out it has closed for 2 years. We went to the street fair instead.
