May 29 Friday
We pick up our RV all ready and serviced for the big trip. We will be in the Burnaby Cariboo RV park for 4 days. Mervin my brother comes by and takes me out for lunch at the White Spot. Tonight we return to BYC for a slide show on a boating trip to Alaska. It was very well attended. They had hamburgers and drinks. We slept on the boat
May 28 Thursday
We are baby sitting again in the morning and part of the afternoon. Darlene has invited all the painters and their spouses to have dinner at her place at the lake in Mission. We all bring something. Bill tries out his new GPS and it tries to get him to go over the new bridge but it doesn't open until mid June. It's good to know he got the latest edition. We knew how to get there anyways. A good time was had by all. A beaver did a swim by while we were there. Neat! We get a copy of the BYC newsletter and the twins got their picture in wearing their sailor outfits for sailpass

May 24 Sunday
Sherri gives me a day at the spa just over 1 block from BYC. Wow does that ever feel good. We have some excitement on the boat while having dinner the boat moured next to us horn continually blasted.(very loud) People came running to find out why and we phoned the owner. Finely someone gets inside and turns off the power. The owner arrives and he too doesn't know why it went off. Apparently it happened 3 years ago too. Good thing it didn't go off in the middle of the night when we were sleeping next door.
May 23 Saturday
Bill and I walk to the Cay and watch the seabus go back and forth and we go to the farmer's market and look at the shops inside. We had to walk the train tracks as the Indians locked the gate and we couldn't cut through Mosquito Creek. They said it was caused by runners interfering with boat launching.
We have Bob and Rose Robertson for dinner on the boat. The weather is still holding out.

May20 Wednesday
A big false alarm. We get to Dr. office and she is running 1 hour late. Dr Goetick feels my breast and says she can not find any lump, and said the mammogram was negative and so was the ultrasound. It was only my family doctor who said he felt a lump. I tell her we will be back in Canada in September for 2 weeks and we will check it out again. She is happy and we make an appointment for Sept 17. Now our plans can proceed for traveling across Canada. The Rv is in getting overhauled and we will pick it up May 29 a Friday and probably leave either Sunday or Monday. We go out to the White Spot for lunch and I go and get my hair cut. I do not need any more scares like that thank you

May 18 Monday
Today is cloudy so we head home about 10am and arrive back in the shed around 1pm. A very enjoyable weekend. The twins seem to be really enjoying the changing scenery.
May 19 Tuesday
Painting class today as I have the biopsy tomorrow (Wednesday) I have 7 in class today. We do a lesson on the nose ,mouth and ears . Last week we did eyes.
Today is cloudy so we head home about 10am and arrive back in the shed around 1pm. A very enjoyable weekend. The twins seem to be really enjoying the changing scenery.

May 17 Sunday
Sherri and Gerry ,Carter and Madison arrive about 10.00am we leave for Clemintine. The water is smooth and the sun is shining. What more could one ask for? We are surprised as there was only 4 boats there and our favorite spot was not taken. The twins have their first long boat ride & Overnight. They were mesmerized with the bond fire that night. My camera batteries were dead when I went to take pictures. Oh darn. Bill put the inverter on and charged them up but I missed a whole day. Will remember to check next time. BYC had 50 boats up at Ekins for the family weekend. No wander no one was here.

May 16 Saturday.
I play on the computer all day. Mostly reading other blogs about going across Canada. Sherri and Gerry and twins will come up to Clemmy on the boat tomorrow. I get things straightened out for them to stay overnight. The club has sure emptied out as they are having a big family weekend at Ekins. They are expecting 45 boats an unheard of number . They usually get around 35. We hope to go the other way to Clemintine up Indian Arm as Gerry has to work Saturday.

May 14 Thursday
Sherri and I look after the twins. We have to leave as there is a showing at 4pm so we just go to the common room for 15-20 min. with the twins.
May 15 Friday
Sherri has to be at the hospital by 7:30am as she is getting her blocked stone shifted or removed. I stay and baby sit. Gerry takes her to the hospital then goes to work. It turns out she must have passed them. Her friend Gail brings her home. Bill arrives at 10am to help with Madison and Carter. Sherri is back before noon. It is confirmed Sherri has sold her condo, and they have an offer coming in on Gerry's place. I return back to the boat tonight.

May 12 Tuesday & May 13
Baby sat for Sherri she got the results of the blood tests and was told to go to the emergency as her counts were way out of whack ( gall bladder problems). Gerry took her to the hospital. And didn't get back until midnight so too late to phone my people to cancel painting classes Wednesday. Gerrry gets someone to come from 7:30am -11 and another person from 11-3 when I arrived .after painting class. Bill and I sit with Carter and Madison .Gerry and I picked Sherri up at 7 pm with the twins ,her blood count have settled down. I stay the night. They think Sherri's condo has sold. And someone looked at the one they are living in tonight. So they might be house hunting soon.

May 10 Mothers day
today Sherri has her friends and relatives do another painting lesson. Annette come down from Oliver. We rent their common room again. This time 9 adults and 3 kids. Bill stays and helps look after the twins. Shannon phones it is good to hear her voice. They are in Costa Rica. The weather was sunny.
May 11 Monday poured rain all day just stayed on the boat.

This is the most difficult time for Bill moving from one home to another. This move was relatively easy as I didn't move all food like flour, etc as we will only be here for 2 -3 weeks.
May 9 Saturday
What a beautiful day sunny sunny sunny. We pick up the RV and take it to get an overhaul at Meridian before we head out. I get Bill to drop me off on Lansdale the main drag of North Vancouver. I shop around including the Cay on the waterfront. I walk back to the boat from there. Just had to take advantage of the great day.

May 5 Tuesday I have my mammogram and ultra sound on my boobs.
May 6 Wednesday Painting day I have a large class 7. I go for my results and they want me to go for a bi-opsy.
May 7 Thursday we get ready to move onto the boat Friday. The RV will go for a check up before we head East.

May 2 Saturday
Sherri and Gerry arrive with the twins. Weather overcast but not raining. George and Betty and Flo arrive on time too. We watch the piper pipe up all the guest. The ceremony goes well ,breakfast is served then we depart from the club to salute our commodore. The rail hold off until evening.
