Feb 28 Thursday
I had a great morning as I attended a good computer class from 9am-12. Fred gave a hour on a lesson then the rest any computer help needed. Boy did I need help. We did get some problems solved but have many more questions to go.
In the afternoon we took a drive to Terribles on the Lake to see if our BYC friends Ralf and Wendy Banks came down like they said. Would you believe they just left today. Weather perfect about 75' but cools off in evening 48' we missed them

a humming bird made his nest on the fence of the pickleball court. he is due to hatch the chicks the middle of March. She is not afraid of people or frightened of the ball being batted back and forth.

Ken and Linda Bill's cousin take us to see the new mobile home they bought in Palm Desert. It is in a beautiful gated community with a golf coarse . I had to buy a new printer as the old one was not compatible with Vista. I played pokino in the afternoon while Bill prepared the rig to leave tomorrow. It was a beautiful hot (80 ) sunny day.

Here is an update on the girls
Sherri and Gerry
Sherri went in for infertilization. She had 2 embryos implanted Feb . 23. This is getting exciting. Their wedding will be at Galiano lodge May 3. They are renting the Bell house for people who want to spend the weekend. 75 people are expected. I might be a grandma yet.
Shannon and Ethan
They moved onto their new boat-CV9 (named after a navy ship) a 131' private yatch. So they are busy hiring new crew (6). The owner will arrive march 17. They will be in South Beach(Miami). Then off to the Bahamas( it will take 16 hr to get there). The owners son will bring quest on board ( a graduation present) They will be there for Spring Break and leave March 28. The boat will go back to Fort Lauterdale and stay for all of April. They hope to be in Chicago in April and May in New York. Then up to Canada. There is a possibility we will be able to see her in Canada. Awesome. They were busy getting their condo in Fort Lauderdale in shape -walls resurfaced, floors redone (tile removed and slate installed in bathroom and kitchen). New furniture was also bought. Sherri and Gerry will be the first to enjoy it as they will go there for their honeymoon.

Slowly I am figuring stuff out .I do not have microsoft word where I am used to typing my notes first ( than I copy and paste) so I am going to download open office but I had difficulty doing that too.
