We had a wonderful flight to Fort Lauderdale. I had the window seat. We flew in sunshine and I am sure I saw New Orleans and Naples as we flew quite low. We had no problems at the airport and Shannon picked us up and took us to her beautiful apartment. We were treated to a lobster and steak dinner cooked by Ethan. We ate on their balcony overlooking the boat show. Awesome.

Oct 25-30
Casa Grande. I did some interesting hikes, but the surprising thing is that the leading man I hike with hikes in a speedo and also likes to hike nude. We get our flue shots $30.00 each. Expensive but a must. We skype at least every second day. It is good to keep up with the twins. We are getting ready to leave for Fort Lauderdale Thursday. We put our RV in storage the night before ,empty the fridge and store Bills insulin in my hiking leaders extra fridge with some other stuff so we didn't have to worry about the propane running out when we were away in our fridge.

I go to Boyce Thompson Areboretum near Globe with the hiking group. It is on hwy60 in Superior. Wonderful trails through well kept gardens. Many butterflies everywhere. We pick some pomagrants and oranges. We were hoping to see the cardinals but only saw a woodpecker. Sherri skypes the twins again and things seem to have settled down.

Next we go to Staples to check on some issues with my computer. They were very helpful there too. Then radio Shack to buy a new battery for our phone $45 It was $85 in Canada. We didn't hear from Sherri or Gerry so we do not know how they made our with their first night alone with the twins.
