March 23 We go to get my drivers license replaced . They do not except my passport as proof who I am and want my marriage certificate to confirm the name change on the birth certificate. Who know where that is .Will try the safety deposit box
March 25,26,27,28 I start Painting class on Wednesday. Sherri brings the twins to show them off and I return to her house to stay overnight as they have a wine festival they have tickets for. Both Bill and I sit on Saturday as Gerry and Sherri have a BYC work party. Some where along the way I get extreme hay fever and a an annoying cough. Sunday is a right off although the weather was perfect warm and sunny. Bill heads down to the boat to get away from my hacking.

March 20 Friday
It is trying to rain. Yep we must be getting close to home. We sleep in a bit and stop at Sherris resturant in Bellingham for breakfast. The border crossing was the easiest ever. How long were you down South and what did you buy. Then OK and we were on our way. They didn't ask for recites or any thing. We get to the Cariboo RV park in the pouring rain around 11.30 . Bill backs in on his own ( fork lift driver was out ) but he did very well. We drive out to Sherri's as they want me to baby sit so they can go to the hocky game. I stay overnight as they both have blood work to do in the morning. Bill checks the boat and picks me up around 5pm.
March 19 Thursday.
We leave Seven Feathers at 6:30am. We arrive in Seattle by 2pm. It is sunny if you can believe. We get to Tuallip Cassino by 3pm. We relax have a drink and do another buffet, hopefully the last for awhile as I have no self control. The desert bar is wonderful. Prime rib, salmon ,ribs, and sushi rolls are some of my favorites as well as Mexician and Italian. $15.95 for seniors.
March 18 Wednesday.
I wake up at 4:30 am bright eyed and busy tailed, so get up and have coffee and wait for Bill he arrives around 5:30 . We have breakfast and are gone by 6:30. We stop for fuel at Corning Flying J and stop at a rest area for lunch. Seven Feathers by 2:30. We relax with a wine and a shower, then dinner -The buffet. Great Prime Rib but we eat too much as usual.

Just before Bakersfield we run into a fog bank and the temperature goes from 63 to 46. We get to Bakersfield around noon. (5 hours) 250 mi) The wild flowers are beautiful ,fields of bright orange to yellow then blue and purple with sprinklings of white, awesome. The nut tree are in full leaf ,blossoms spent already but the fruit trees are in various stages of blossoms.(pink then white) The temp. is back up to 65'. We arrive in Santa Nella around 3pm-410 mi and 8 hours. (74') 4:30 we are in the Flying J (489 mi. ) I have a very good dinner (tialapia) We are in bed by 9:30
March16 Monday
We move outside the park for 1 night. Sheila invites us for lunch so I do not have to cook with no hookup. Wonderful. We take in the car-a van presentation. One takes a car instead of your RV and you hotel it. It is great for the women as she doesn't have to cook. We take in the one and only line dancing class in the afternoon. We didn't do bad not line dancing for about 2 years. Clark and Sheila drive us downtown Palm Springs for dinner and we decide to do Mexician this time. We get a great table with the view of the sidewalk and a band. Great music from our area and very good food. We decide to walk the streets which are amazing quite busy and so were the restaurants. So much for the economy .

Today Rennie and I go to Morango. When we get there we find them catching and banding humming birds. They ask if I would like to release one and I say yes. What an experience holding a hummer. It was interesting watching them catch them too. We do the hike around the outer Park . We meet up with 2 people on the trail on horsreback. Again a lot more flowers then last time. Tonight I help Rennie download pictures and put titles on her pictures using the free program Picasa. We did not get finished so will work on them again tomorrow.

They will be exploring the area around the big island Ilsa Chiloe and taking a land trip into the lake district and hopefully go to a smoking volcano. They are checking the area out before the guest arrive on March 14 for two weeks. They also want to find some of the hot springs in the area. Then they leave for Ecuador
