Linz Austria

Another change of plans-They decide to put us up in a hotel in Wurzberg the Maritim. Our drive was to be 2.5 hours with a break in the middle. The rest stop had a Burger king. Bathroom 70c We use our $1 rebate towards a smoothie. Yum We get hung up just passed Frankfurt with an accident so we did a slow crawl for 20 min. We arrive at the hotel at7. A quick check in and back on a bus for dinner. We have dinner at Burguspital. Food good service terrible. Our room has a great view of the castle on the hill and the Mine river .Wurzberg is an university town. Germany has 81 million people. We have a good breakfast and have our suitcases out the door by 8:30am and get on bus at 10am for a 2 hour drive to Regensburg for lunch then off to Linz Austria. A 3 hour drive. We left early as some of the roads are closed due to the floods so we had to do many detours. Traveling through Passe we see a lot of flood evidence. The highest flood for 501 years. Many ambulances and police cars pass us on the way to the flood area. We arrive in Linz Austria and are taken directly to the restaurant our baggage is taken to the hotel-Mariot Courtyard. A beautiful outdoor courtyard restaurant. I am posting from the lobby with free WIFI. Linz has 250 th. people. Austria is a landlocked country of 8 m people. We are to have our bags out by 8:15 and be on a bus for an 1.5 hour walking tour Then off to Vienna by 2pm
