Nov.2 Creel Thursday. The day of the dead in Mexico. The people go to the gravesites and decorate the graves with flowers. They talk with their loved ones some even leave their favorite food. Schools are closed. It looked like a big fair, balloons ,candy floss etc. We get a bus trip to a cave where people live. Then we go to the valley of Mushrooms (stone formations) also to the Valley of frogs. Tamahara Indians set up their crafts for sale here. We go to San Iguaciode Arareho mission where a boarding school is. Everything is closed for the day of the dead. So we can’t drop our school supplies we brought. Next we stop at Lake Arareho surrounded by a pine tree forest. More craft for sale. We head back to Creel by now there is more action at the cemetery. We are taken back to town for lunch at Margaritas. Chili relanoes. The town museum is next then back to the RV park. Happy hour is at 5pm.
