WE
take the car up to Craigdarroch castle. Good thing we didn't try to
walk up on the bus tour as it was a very long steep hill to get
there. The castle is 4 stories up no elevator but as you go in stages
it was doable. The castle
was
completed in 1890 a home for coal baron Robert Dunsmuir and family.
It was also used as a military hospital, Victoria college, Victoria
school board and a music conservatory. We were there 2 hours. We left
for Nanaimo got a room at the Travel Lodge. Phoned Mike and Nola and
met at the White spot for dinner. Had a good visit
