Monday we got many shots- Telanus, dephtheria, pertusses, typhoid and pneumococcal. Nothing that $115 didn't cure. Both arm were sore for a few days. Wednesday we were invited to the twins first swimming lesson. No tears this time but they could see us on the side lines. 2 instructors for 4 kids. One little girl never did make it into the water

A hectic week Monday took us to our doctor for our last visit of the year to renew our 6 month prescriptions. Our last visit to the eye doctor too. Everything was copacetic. My friend Flo takes me out for lunch at the White Spot at Park Royal we walk the mall latter to work off some of the food. Friday I enjoy the luxury of Utopia Spa compliments of Sherri for all the baby sitting I did this summer. The massage was heavenly and my toenails look exquisite. Saturday we go to London Drugs to look at cameras and we come home with a Panasonis Lumix 18x full HD. 6 of us go out for schnitzels after a happy hour at Bob and Rose's . excellent food. Sunday Gerry brings the twins to the boat I was to baby sit while they went to the boat show next door, but it poured rain so we have fun on the boat. Monday we go to get our yellow fever shots to go to San Salvador , Guadamala and Belize.

We celebrate the twins birthday today. They had 16 kids for the party. All went well. Bill took the truck in yesterday for an oil change and got a real shock as they told him that he needs to get a new rear end so they ordered the parts. Nothing that money won't fix. There goes my new rug in the RV . The weather is getting cold and dreary.

I was fortunate and was able to attend the twins first time in pre -school. Carter was none too happy and cried when he discovered that Sherri had left then Madison cried too when she saw Carter. The first day was only for one hour. They relaxed quite quickly and were happy when we arrived to pick them up. We are busy getting ready to move into the RV the beginning of October. We hope to head South October 11. Sunday we are celebrating Carter and Madison's 3rd birthday

September 11 Sunday 2011
The weather co-operated for the whole of BYC's family weekend. We got to leave a little earlier as the twins pre-school got canceled on Thursday. Only about 5 boats here but Friday was different. We got a surprise during the evening as we got to see the Northern light for a short time. We also hear a 6.8 earthquake was centered 100 miles from Comox on Vancouver Island. Of course we felt nothing on the water. Saturday was a fun day for Carter and Madison as grandpa bought fishing rods. The club had a great craft table going for the kids. They carried dog biscuits in the pocket of their life jackets so the dogs followed then everywhere. Bill got up early Saturday morning( 6am) as he made the coffee for the group. They even had bailey's to go with it. Smoothies for the kids an Pina Coladas and Margaritas for the adults Saturday afternoon. A wonderful meal Saturday night -Steaks, crabs, salmon, chicken- Madison tried them all. The evening was talent night served with desert and specialty coffee. After a breakfast of sausages, bacon pancakes fruit we left around 11am. Sherri brought the cribs for them to sleep in as they were familiar with them for sleeping. The first night they were in bed early but woke up briefly at 2:30 am and again at 4am. The next night was better and even better the next. I go back to Sherri's until Wednesday to help.

Ekins-16 boats at Ekins. We walk over to Thunderbird to stretch our legs. Sunday we are down to 9 boats but back up to 11 for Bob's 79th birthday. They cooked 2 prime ribs on spits. Outstanding. It was warn enough for us to swim in the ocean. We left for Center Bay Wednesday only 9 boat but got up to 46 by the weekend. The most we ever had and to think they didn't cook a pig this year . Hamburger and corn was the feast of the day. The big new dock was great for get-together s. a beautiful big buck made an appearance on the ridge.( no camera dam ) We are finally getting our summer. We head back to BYC Monday. Tuesday we wash the boat , change bed and do laundry .Vacuum also and get ready to take Sherri ,Carter and Madison out on the boat for 3 night when BYC has their family weekend at Clemmy. Weather is to be sunny for the rest of the week. Unbelievable.
