November 15 Monday 2010 heading South

6:30 am 46' we leave the flying ”J” we take hwy 46 >99> 58 to Bakerfield. We pass cotton, almond trees , grapes, and fields of roses. I have never seen grapes covered before. The smog is terrible around Bakersfield. Hwy 58>395 heading to Mojave. We go through Joshua then into Desert Hot Springs we arrive at 2pm 86' we get our spot Bill sets up the satalite and I try to go on line. They forget to give me the codes and it is after 4 so I have to wait until the office opens tomorrow. What a bummer. Our friends from Powell River arrive at our door what a surprise,( Lynne and Larry). The free phone is not working DAM.
