here is why I haven"t blogged. Sherri has been busy painting bedrooms. weeding and hedge trimming, power washing her fence and moving stuff onto the new shelves Bill built in their storage room. Saturday we try out our new life jackets in the pool at our RV park. Monday is Sherri and Gerry's Anniversary. next weekend is sail pass.

April 22 Thursday 2010 Burnaby
Well I am glad that it is over with . I had a rooter router-a Colonosopy. It wasn't as bad as I anticipated. I have nothing but clear liquid the day before plus 2 bottles of a laxative that was easy to take. They give you a sedative and I slept through it. Nothing showed up so that was a good thing. Bill goes to the boat I stay home and clean the rv as we are having company Saturday and Sunday. Friday Sherri wants me to stay overnight as they are going to the wine festival.

April 15 Thursday 2010 Burnaby
We go down to the boat before we go for our results of our doctors check ups. My sugar count is 6 so that is good. We get a pneumonia shot while we are there.
April 16 Friday 2010 Burnaby
before we go to BYC for safety inspection I stop and get my much needed hair cut. We stop and buy the twins life jackets for the boat and sail pass. I walk Launsdale and Bill goes to the boat. It is a beautiful day for walking. We stay for the barbecue at dinnertime and spend the night on the boat.
April 17 Saturday 2010
Our turn for inspection is 9am. We are up and ready. We pass with no problems. Bill had all the fire extinguishers checked yesterday. It is pouring rain out so I do not go walking like planned. I read a pocket book instead, until noon when they are serving barbecue chicken. We socialize until 3pm and head back to the Rv for the night.
REMEMBER-learning is the thing which the mind can never exhaust...never fear...and never dream of regretting

April 15 Thursday 2010 Burnaby
Well since I have been off line the Canadian dollar is at par. We survived 5 days baby sitting alone. The kids are so cute, they want to do things on their own . Feeding is a challenge as they like there own fork and the spoon .They tend to turn over the spoon before it gets to their mouth. It is hard to believe they are 19 months already and about 25 pounds each from under 3 pounds at birth. Bill gets shelves built in spare room in the basement and we take out all our treasures out of the locker. A good time to inspect what we bought and what to discard. Bill take me out for dinner after a short nap. Orv and Annette arrive around 1pm to take over . The kids are due back from Fort Lauderdale April 18. Shannon phones and all is well with them . They survived eight 18 year olds on board for a week. They are getting ready to go to Indonesia to explore that area.
REMEMBER-exercise is king, nutrition is queen put them together and

April 6 Tuesday 2010 Burnaby
Eye appointments for both of us. They have a new machine that takes pictures of your eyeball, amazing. I have the start of macular degeneration . I am taking pills to help and he will keep track. Our eyes haven't changed much so no new glasses needed for Bill . Dr Cottle brought in a new puppy. So cute a black lab. We try to go for lunch but the family cafe I like is closed for the holidays. We decide to do a quick grocery stop I go to pay and no credit card so Bill has to pay. We return to the Rv and I phone Sherri and she phones her grocery store as I took the twins in the stroller there when I was over last time. YES my card is there. We have a consultation with our family doctor for the results of our blood test at 2pm . Bill gets the best bill of health he has ever had. Dr Unger said he has never seen Bill so healthy.(except his weight ) but he doesn't even mention that. My blood pressure and cholesterol are good too .He just wants to check my blood sugar again so I will get blood work done tomorrow . I have to fast .boo Next we go to ICBC to get our insurance for the truck and the RV it takes 2 hours. Bill is some upset but we finally get it.
REMEMBER-Don't dwell on what you lack, dwell on what you have and use it to the fullest with gratitude.

April 4 Sunday 2010 Burnaby
lots of snow on the local mountains great for Spring break. Gerry is home to help Bill with the locker stuff. Everyone seems to be much better health wise. Ops spoke too soon Bill comes down with up set stomach.
April 5 Monday 2010
Bill is up a couple of times during the night and stays in bed all day. We cancel our dinner with Hudson and Dina. I get a call from Sherri ,Gerry is down too. Weather is a real mixed bag sun,clouds and rain mixed all day.
REMEMBER-No one has ever drowned in sweat

JUST A NOTE if you are following this blog for a travel journal we will not be traveling until mid May in our boat. We will be back from the boat the beginning of September then September25 we go on a Panama cruise. I hope to post then too. We will be I Fort Lauderdale at our daughter's condo until October 13. Then fly home and start down South with 5th wheel. Now is family time .

April 3 Saturday 2010 Burnaby
I am feeling a little better today. We get a call from Sherri she is down with the twins all puking and diarrhea and Gerry has to work. So we stop at the locker first then head over. Bill makes another trip to the locker. Sherri has canceled her rack of lamb dinner . We leave when Gerry comes home and I go to directly to bed. Hopefully everything calms down for the next weekend as Sherri and Gerry are flying to Florida and we are baby sitting by ourselves. REMEMBER The first wealth is health.

April 2 Good Friday 2010 Burnaby
Bill goes to boat again ,I stay home. Very windy today rain off and on. Many trees down, electricity down in some areas ( not ours) . 80 km of wind the worst in 2 years. With the Canadian dollar just about at par there was a 3-4 hour wait at the border. All hell breaks loose at 7pm. I am shooting out at both ends I don't know the cause but it wasn't a pretty sight. I ended up sleeping on the couch with a garbage can close at hand.
REMEMBER never look down on anybody unless you are helping them up.
