July 6 Friday- Today we head for Shoal Bay in sunshine again. Shoal Bay was once the biggest gold mining community north of San Francisco .It housed 3 mines and was the meeting place with 3 saloons. It is now reduced to 1 lodge and a couple of houses. The large public dock still stands. They have WIFI in the lodge. The docks are full everyone waiting for Johnstone Strait to calm down.
