July 5 Thursday Oleo’s- We leave Refuge Cove and motor up to catch the tides for the Yuculta rapids , Dent rapids and Devils hole. All can have violent eddies and whirlpools, so tide and current charts have to be watched carefully. We are heading to Oleo’s in Fredrick Arm. An unlikely floating restaurant with moorage for a few boats. It is tucked in behind a small island on the east side of Fredrick Arm. When we arrive another BYC boat is here-Riot 4(Chris and Lib). We have them over for happy hour then go to dinner together. $22 a head and $10 for moorage. ( no power) Beautiful sunny day
