November 13 Friday 2015 Palm Desert
Breakfast was made to order. I had 2
scrambled eggs with bacon and hash browns , cooked right on the spot.
Toast, bagels sweets also available. We drove 1400 miles all told. We
left the room at 8:30. We went to our place Steve was there (not
ready for us yet but let us put 4 tubs in the car port. Next we
went to Ken & Linda's to get stuff we left behind then went to
the 99cent only store. They still had cauliflower,broccoli,shredded
cabbage and carrots,onions and sweet potatoes for $1. and lots more
can't beat their prices. Whole watermelon and cantaloupes too. Next
we go to the Desert Sun to get daily delivery of the paper until end
of March. Back to our place cleaning lady finished. So we start
moving in. Take a short rest then go to Trader Joe's and Walmart for
more shopping. I bought a BBQ chicken ($4.98) for dinner. After
dinner we start putting stuff away. A long day. I find my camera cord for the computer in with my copier. .
