Today we pick up my painting buddy (Sharon Young) from the airport. We get her settled in then go for a swim and get ready for happy hour at Bills cousins Ken and Linda. Hudson and Dina are there too as we are saying good bye to H and D as they leave for Yuma. We all go to the Crab Pot for dinner then back to Linda's for homemade lime pie YUM Yum. Thursday is a busy day for us we start with the painting group, then a swim then go to the Palm Springs Art museum and take in the docent tour. A different docent then last and a different tour. Sure did learn a lot. Ruby's for dinner then walk the street fair a long but fun day.

Our trip around the Salton Sea was exciting for me as we unexpectantly stop at The Fountain of Youth RV park. An acquaintance of mine( Becky and Larry Lord ) spent the month of January here and sure enough they were there. We made a quick date for lunch before they head back to Langley. We couldn't go to the mud pots like planned as the road was closed due to mud after the rain, but we did go to Salvation Mountain then to Sonny bono's wild life preserve. The Thai Smile for dinner made a good end for a lovely day

Our show with the Patsy Cline impersonator was excellent. Dia Nalano sang 27 of Patsy's songs. My favorite was Crazy, Stupid cupid and Your cheating heart. Today Hudson is taking us driving around the Salton Sea.

another large crowd for the night walk 33 people. We did get to see the yellow bats when Dani used her bat finder. We saw spiders 2 kinds,a centipede,stink bug,and I found about 7 scorpions with my new blacklight flashlight. great fun Bill even came

Wednesday Hudson and Dina take us to Shermans for dinner. It was their anniversary. Thursday is a long day as Hudson drives us to Quartzsite for the day. Sat is the night owl walk at thousand Palms and Sunday we go see a Patsy Cline impersonator. busy busy busy  love it.

Polo today a new adventure for all of us. Lacrosse was played on the other side of the fence. Many many teams . Another good day but very hot -80'

We go to the classic car show on El Paseo drive where cars drive around in their antique cars. It brought back old memories. Hundreds of old cars, trucks and motorcycles did laps around
