August 27 Friday 2010 Bowen Island Snug Cove
We arrive around 1pm after fueling up. A mix of rain with sunshine. 1 other BYC boat here . They leave the next day so we are by ourselves for Bowenfest and the ferry run. A parade started after the 10:30 ferry left. Amazing quite good for a small community. My blood pressure is down considerably. Nothing over 150. A beautiful sunny day today and the same expected for tomorrow. So far we are the only BYC boat here for tonight
REMEMBER-Pay attention to what you like and ignore or discourage the rest.

August 26 Thursday 2010
My trip to the doctors has me on diuretics as well as a low dose of high blood pressure pills. This seems to be working as the numbers are coming down. Talk about the silent killer as I do not feel any different. I am enjoying baby sitting. Sherri has a swimming pool for the kids and they are really enjoying it but it takes constant supervision. Their cousins Dempsey and Patterson, spent the night. Bill will pick me up today . We will try for Snug Cove tomorrow then Center Bay where they will have their pig roast on the Labour day weekend. So no internet for awhile.
REMEMBER-A mind once stretched to a new idea never returns to it's original size.

We have a visit with Douh and Bunny Stevens and we also see Roy and Darlene friends we met through Clark and shelia in Desert Hot Springs. Dough and Bunny have been doing a lot of cruises and they really like Oceanna lines. Doug drives us back in his dingy much to Bill's delight. Murial and Laurie have arrived. We try to go to the Aboriginal center but we do not have time to do it justice so will come again and go there first. They did great improvements on the highway up.

August 2010
We are back in Vancouver after a short stay at Clemintine up Indian Arm. We caught some crabs and had a great feast. Back for our twin fix. Hudson and Dina stayed one night more. Bill fell down a couple of stairs and hurt his back. He went to the doctors as he hit his kidneys on the railing. Monday he goes for an ultra sound . Both kids phoned on my birthday. Shannon and Ethan are on their way to Singapore for 2 weeks. They will get their new water maker inspected for warranty. Shannon is looking forward to Singapore. After that they will head back to western Australia. Perth and eventually Tasmania. I had a terrible night with the twins Friday I tried putting them to bed and we couldn't find Carter's bunny. We looked everywhere. The poor guy cried for half an hour of coarse Madison joined in. I finally gave them a cuddle and brought them downstairs then back to bed still no bunny. The second time he didn't cry quite as long. Sherri found the bunny inside a cupboard inside the roasting pan. Who would have thought of that????
REMEMBER-make room for chance encounters
