Madison and Carter went with their dad back to Wendy's to play golf . We picked up Hudson and Dina from the airport. Sherri had a free day by herself at the pool. Today Sherri and Gerry have an appointment to tour Sunnylands the Annenberg estate.( here is where high up people stay for security.)They will tour the house. I play games with the kids and maybe do a puzzel

January 10 Tuesday 2017 Palm Desert

yesterday Carter went golfing and Madison And I went to the children s discovery museum. We had Gerry's dad Patti and his friend Wendy for dinner. Today we will stay in the park and go swimming. Gerry will go play poker with his dad.

January 8 Sunday 2017 Palm Desert

Family arrived safely. After lunch we go to Indio and the polo grounds for a huge dog show. Almost 200 fur balls compete for the best of show. Madison loved it as people are allowed to pet the dogs as they want them to get used to other people touching them preparing them for the judges touching them. Carter is off playing golf and Madison is swimming. Living desert after lunch

January 1 Sunday 2017 Palm Desert Happy New Year

Glad the year is over. We tried 2 times to fly home. We spent 1 whole day at the airport only to be told it was too foggy next day we didn't leave as there was too much snow on Bellingham's airport. They are refunding our money. Because we didn't go our health insurance went up as we didn't break up our time ( instead of 2 short trip it became 1 long one. Big difference .We didn't take enough pills with us as we thought we were going back home so Sherri had to get our meds we pre ordered from the drug store. Our credit card expires and new card is at home so Sherri has to find it and bring it down too thank goodness they are coming down soon. This time I am prepared made chilli ,lasagna and onion soup for Sherri. Shannon phoned and Ethan is busy taking courses and will not be finished until the end of January. Weather here has cooled down considerably only in the 60's. Hope it warms up before the family arrives.
