fun with Carter and Madison

What a wonderful gift Sherri gave me for baby sitting this summer. A day at spa Utopia. We just finished twin sitting and will not see Carter and Madison for 40 days ( I cried) when I realized it would be that long. We will be home Nov 2 for only 11 days before we head South for the winter. We will have to rely on Skyping. I did enjoy trying to show Carter and Madison how to use their new scooters. Only 2 more sleeps until we leave.

REMEMBER- A smile is a language even a baby understands.

September 15 Wednesday 2010

A fun week visiting with Shannon and Ethan and baby sitting. They arrived Sept. 10 exhausted after a long trip from Singapore. We sleep in the twins room in their new beds. Shannon and Ethan come to the boat to help Bill with his plot chatter. Shannon shows me some of their photos. Some great shots. I go for my mammogram and ultrasound, it took 2 hours. Doctors appointment Friday. Shannon gets her new passport and they leave for Fort Lauderdale for a well deserved rest.(just about 3 weeks .They have a quick trip to New York for their annual General meeting. Then back to Singapore. Tuesday we go back to the boat until Sunday when Sherri is giving the kids birthday party. We will stay overnight and 3 days as Sherri and Gerry want to go shopping down in the States. Then it's time to start packing for the cruise (Panama). We leave September 25 and will spend 3 weeks at Shannon's condo during the boat show.

2010 September Yes it is Fall already

We try to leave Gibsons Sept 2 Thursday for Center Bay. Bill checks the engine room , everything is wet????now what?? Luckily someone comes down by 1:30. It turns out a plug in the transmission collerant let loose. They put a plug in the pipe. Apparently sauder worked its way out. Nothing that $156 didn't fix. We got lucky this time. We arrive at Center Bay with a small amount of boats. Bill backs against the dock so that he can wash his overhanging dingy. He gave it a good wash as this is the last of our boating for the season. They put Bill in charge of organizing the horseshoes. He has a great time with crib and Boccie ball all fighting for prime time.

Saturday is the pig roast, 31 boats are here now.

Sunday is a huge happy hour and prizes. We luck out and win $150 gift certificate at Home Depot. Many boats were prawning and crabbing so we have a good feast.

Monday the weather changes and it pours rain all the way back to BYC. The water is flat except for the wake from other boaters heading back into the Harbour causing some swells.

My blood pressure has settled down nicely so the pills are doing there job. REMEMBER- There is nothing either good or bad ,but thinking makes it so
