Ihave been off line for 5 days so this is catch up
July 23 Friday 2010 Clemmy to BYC
It is another beautiful sunny day. We leave Clemmy at 9am. I go to the library and walk back to BYC. We go to Sherri's they go to the movies tonight. Bill stays the night.
REMEMBER-In order to be a realist you must believe in miracles.
July 21 Wednesday 2010 Bills 68th birthday
Bill gets 2 crabs enough for happy hour. Both our girls phone. Laurie and Merle ( Shiloh) arrive.
Up date on Shannon and Ethan- They are getting ready to move to Borneo Malaysia as their visa is running out.
REMEMBER- there is always plenty of time, if you don't hurry.
July 18 Sunday 2010 Our 46 anniversary
We return to the boat and head up to Clemmy at the head of Indian Arm. 7 boats are here when we arrive. Hudson and Dina arrive too. All boats leave by the evening but 3 .
REMEMBER-You can't do anything about what is gone, but you can do something about what is left.

July 15 Thursday 2010 babysitting
We get the most wonderful greeting from Carter and Madison when we arrive., jumping up and down with the most beautiful smiles and squeels . Does that make you feel good or what. Bill and I walk them to a park with slides and swings. I forget their buckets and shovels for the sand. It was too hot for Bill. Bill and the twins have a nap when we ge back
REMEMBER-Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.
July 14 Wednesday 2010 BYC North Vancouver
I decide to walk Gas town so take the sea bus and walk the area. A great amount of Asians walking around. Vancouver is a beautiful city with it's hanging baskets and many sidewalk cafes. I go to the spaghetti factory for lunch. A fun day even though I was alone.
REMEMBER-Forgiveness is the way to credit the future.

July 13 Tuesday 2010 Ekins and back to Vancouver
A hummingbird flies into our boat. He stays for about 5 minutes then flies out.
We are the last to leave at 11am. Water OK until Point Atkinson then we hit choppy water. Not really all that bad just uncomfortable. We are back at the club by 2:45
REMEMBER- Children may close their eyes to advice ,but may open their eyes to example.
July 11 Sunday 2010 Ekins
another great day. Eventually only 5 boats here. The rest moved on or back home.
REMEMBER – Cry with someone it is more healing than crying alone.
July 12 Monday 2010 Ekins
one boat left at 7am but returned an hour and a half latter saying if was getting far too rough. So we are back to 5 boats. It is very windy with lots of whitecaps. A nature day today we saw an ermine or martin or weasil I do not know the difference. It was a beautiful red colour and of coarse I didn't have my camera. Seagulls ,eagles and even a kingfisher were fun to watch. A family of 5 herons ans of coarse seals
REMEMBER- Envy is a waste of time, you already have all you need.

July 9 Friday 2010 out time is up for Gibsons
After a trip to the internet cafe we head to Ekins. We plan on being back to Vancouver Wednesday weather permitting ( water) Sherri and Gerry have tickets for The Lion King. And I will baby sit. Shannon phoned from Indonesia but Bill had the phone turned off as he went to bed early. Dam Dam dam
July 8 Thursday 2010 Gibsons
Ken brings the lincoln down for us. I walk to the internet cafe and play for 3 hours. I have lunch there. I return to the boat then we go grocery shopping for fresh vegetables and dairy. We go to Ken and Linda's for a glass of wine then we are going to the pub for prime rib. It was Linda's birthday Monday so we treated. Ken didn't come as his pinched nerves was acting up. Another beautiful hot day a little too warm for Bill.
REMEMBER-To ignore the facts does not change the facts
July 7 Wednesday 2010 Gibsons
I need a haircut and decide to hike to upper Gibsons via the Inglis trail through the forest. At the entrance to the trail are a few warnings. A cougar was sighted June 17 and there are many bears around as well as Coyotes. I go any way. I see non of this but a doe and her fawn cross the path right in front of me. They were not in any hurry. I didn't have my camera. Won't I ever learn. I check the Super Value mall No hairdressers. I walk to the IGA mall but they are booked for the whole day. I walk down to Hair Reflections near where Clark and Shelia live. Vicki does a great job. Only 4 boats in the BYC spots tonight. I should sleep well tonight.

July 6 Tuesday 2010 Gibsons
I head to an internet cafe to check my e-mails. 38 on hotmail and 90 in g-mail. It takes me awhile to go through them. Then I head for the library. I take out 8 books as I will be home July 17 as Sherri and Gerry have tickets for the Lion King. I can return the books then as they are part of the Interlink system. I return to the boat and enjoy an idyllic summer day. Only 3 BYC boats here tonight.
REMEMBER-reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are.

June 29 Tuesday 2010 Gibsons
I walk up to thrift store to buy book for the twins. What steep hills Gibsons has. I stop in at the library on the way to post the blog. Z,z Xcape from BYC arrives now 3 boats from BYC here.

June 30 Wednesday 2010 Gibsons
Ken brings the Lincon down and we drive to Egmont for lunch. Scenery beautiful. We stop at upper Gibsons for more groceries as we are having Ken and Linda for dinner. We eat up on the command bridge. BYC in full tonight ( 7 boats)
REMEMBER. Your time and energy are too precious to spend on stress.
July 1 Thursday 2010 Center Bay Canada day
We wake up to rain. We decide to move to Center Bay. The rain has stopped. 7 Boats are here. The trail and bridge to the cabin is gone . Now we have to take the dingy there.
REMEMBER-The mind is not a vessel that needs filling but wood that needs igniting.
July 2 Friday Center Bay Sherri's birthday.
We wake up to sunshine. 13 boats here today. Overcast this morning but sunny in the afternoon. Merle and Laurie said that they got beat up coming across the gulf.(water very rough). Bob and Rose invited us and Bob and Shirley for dinner. A great time was had by all.
REMEMBER- Big changes in your life are more or less a second chance.
July 3 Saturday 2010 Center Bay
We wake up to sunshine. I type up my blog on Open Office while Bill has the generator on to charge up the batteries. It's all ready to cut and paste when I can get on line. Center Bay has no power so we have to keep our batteries up. Rose ,Shirley and I hike the center Bay grind for some exercise. I enjoy siting on the command with the I-pod plugged into my ears and reading in the sunshine.
REMEMBER-Learning is the thing which the mind can never exhaust.
July 4 Sunday 2010 Center Bay
only 5 boats are left everyone else has moved on. One new boat arrives. It is very quit with so many boats gone. Bill barbecues tonight.
REMEMBER-The hole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.
July 5 Monday 2010 Center Bay.
Only 4 boats here today. Sunny sunny sunny thank goodness for an ocean breeze. A good day to read a good book in the sun. Bill polishes some brass.
