October 7 Wednesday 2009 Blue Ridge Mt.
It rained overnight but sunny this morning. 9Am 61'(17)There were only 4 rv in the park . With the sun shinning we get a fall extravaganza of colours. We get off the parkway to fuel up at Roanoke as there are no fuel stop on the Parkway. We pass a Wal-mart and could have stayed there but didn't know it was there. . We continue down the Blue Ridge Parkway still in Virginia but soon in North Carolina. the colours are really starting to show. We came about 1 week too soon .We see a rv park Raccoon Holler and decide to stay there for the night $29 for the night with cable and electric. WIFI in lounge. We have a tire leaking problem again and have someone coming in the morning to check it out. We drove 189 mi(305 k ) With the curving and up and down highway we are getting less than 10 miles per gallon.
