August 31 Monday 2009. It Annapolis Royal NS
Sunny by noon so another exploring day. We start with Fort Royal 1610-1613
a reconstructed small French compound . An early European settlement who made friends with Mi'kmaq Indians and survived until 1613 when it was destroyed in an attack by Captain Samuel Argall of Virginia. Next we drive to Victoria Beach as far as we can go. We pass some veg stands and I buy fresh beets ,cucumbers and potatoes. Anyone ready for borscht???? we also stop at the Melanson settlement not much there. I can't believe that August is over. Where is time going???? only good thing is that it's only 10 day to see our babies.
REMEMBER- throw out nonessential numbers,including age,weight,and height. Let the doctor worry about them. That is why we pay him/her.
