The computer Gods are in a snit and would not let me post pictures so will try again today. Sunny with not a cloud in sight. We decide to go to Lunenburg 51 miles (82k) away. We go through Mahome Bay first where we are greeted with 3 churches which have stood on the bay since the mid-1800's are renowned landmark s. Cape Cod ,Georgian and Victorian -style houses also still stand. The streets are very narrow I would hate to bring a RV through here. Old town Lunenburg is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is the home of the Bluenoise which we get on. It is the undefeated champion of the North Atlantic Fishing fleet and the winner of 4 international schooner races from 1921-1931 ( her likeness is on the Canadian dime). We go to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. It has 3 floors and also includes 2 historic ships on the dock. We get on the T.E. Connor and the Cape Sable. The building contain a aquarium, a boat room, displays of ships models and sea artifacts, exhibits depicting the story of rumrunning and the history of the Bluenose. We get some guided tours. We break for lunch across the street. I have a delicious plate of mussels. The museum is very well done . We spend over 3 hours here again a lot to see and read.
REMEMBER-Don't view your home as too small ,think of it as easy to clean.
