February 12 Sunday 2011 Pisca and the sacred Valley

Day 4 of our trip We fly from Lima to Cuzco ( 1 hr) . We were in the clouds most of the flight. A bus takes us through the town of Cusco first . We will be coming back to stay for 2 days 2 nights. We see people in traditional clothes. The streets are wide in town but once out of town they narrow. It is compulsary to go to school from grade one to twelve. We pass an universary. Roofs are mostly made of tiles. People are very strong as they have a lot of stairs to limb. The bus takes us overland into the sacred valley. The Urubamba river is the center of the Inca Empire. The hillsides are beautiful and green. We see an amazing amount of terraces. Most people have gardens ,pigs chickens lamas,sheep etc.
