July 26 Sunday 2009 10:30am 63'(17) We are off to Twillingate the Northwestern side of Newfoundland. . It is off the beaten path up hwy 340 but very scenic with one cove after another that offers scenes straight from a post card. Coastal fishing communities line every nook and cranny. We stay at Peyton's wood rv park $75 for 3 nights .We arrive in time for lunch. Bill gets the satalite dish going. Then we drive to find icebergs. We are too late for the big one as one had just about blocked the entrance to the bay but has now broken up. Apparently more are coming. One can track them on the Internet.
