July 2 Thursday 2009 Happy 40th Sherri.
7:15 am 55'(13) overcast and light rain. Our first stop Is in Bouctouche (book-toosh) New Brunswick. We go to the Irving Eco center. We both walk the board walk over the salt marsh and sand dunes (2k -1.5 mi) a nice leg stretcher. It had stopped raining. Next is a dramatic way to enter the Prince Edward Island paradise by the Confederation bridge. 8 miles long with no stops and no pull-offs. It was quite a thrill to drive. It is the longest bridge in the world over ice covered water. You pay a toll on the way back as it has the state of the art traffic management system including full video coverage. We stop at the visitors center on the PEI side and gather info. We arrive at the KOA in Cavendish at 1:45 we pay $193 for 6 days. We drove 257 mi 414 k
