I hike with Eric from the Coachella valley hiking club. 4 of us go up hwy. 74 and twist and turn until we get to a call box. We turn down a dirt road and park a little way down and hike up Sugar loaf mountain. Pinyon canyon. A lot of rock scrambling . My legs are too short I give up part of the way ( last 15 min, ) Eric lost the trail but finds it on our way down. We take one truck. We met at the Starbucks on hwy 74 and Monterey. I go to the 99c only store before heading home. We are invited to Bruce and Diane's for happy hour. Pokino tonight. I am the big winner.
