The Bunt Shanghai

After breakfast we visit Net master
gardens and silk factory they show us the elaborate production. We do
not buy anything as we like our Egyptian cotton but people were
buying.
Next we take a coach to Shanghai , China's largest city. A
major seaport and important commercial center. What a huge congested
and smog polluted city. Crazy traffic with all different
vehicles-pedal and electric moter(remember no helmets or headlights
for night driving) bikes( run so quietly one cannot hear them coming)
,moterbikes with rickshaw vehicles driving in the same lane ,insane
traffic. They have raised freeways where these vehicles are not
allowed. Traffic heavier than New York, Los Angelous and Mexico city.
We are given some free time to explore the city. Sky scraper are
competing for space mixed among ancient buildings and shops. A city
with some beautiful gardens and lights. Too busy for us.
