November 13 Tuesday 2012
A day of rest until 2:30 when Reba and I go to the Elk hall and play Mexician train. I was the big winner came home with $3. Wednesday Clark and Shelia take me to the Whitewater preserve. A first for me. The trail that goes along a river of rushing water. This trail hooks up with the Pacific Crest trail. We hike for awhile on a reasonably flat trail but weather is hot and no breeze so we turn back and enjoy the trout ponds, some really large trout. A nice clean ranger station with a lot of information and a great picnic area.
REMEMBER-past mistakes make for future successes.
