An update on Shannon and Ethan
They are still in Indonesia in Cenderwasih Bay which is in the northern coast of Papua island a bit East of Rojah Ampat. They are having the time of their life diving and photographing whale sharks. They hired Bagans, floating fishing platforms to dump fish for the sharks. Whale sharks are plankton eaters. The sharks are only interested in free food and ignore snorkelers and divers. They spent many magical hours with the magnificent creatures and were able photograph them in quite decent viz. Clear water , unusual fish behavior and cooperative mega-fauna. Cenderawasih may well be called the Galapagos of the Indonesian reefs. Here is a you tube web site to watch
