November 2&3 St David Arizona 2009
Monday was another down day. We go for lunch with Paul and Edith to Benson. Cafe 86. food was very good . Happy hour at our place as we have the best shade.
Tuesday we all go to Bisbee. A charming mountainside historic district. We had done the Queen mine tour and their museum before so we just walked the streets enjoying the many shops and architecture from the turn of the century. Bisbee got it's big boom of growth due to copper mining which began around 1880. We have our picnic lunch at the corner park then walk up to the 6th longest operating saloon in Arizona, St Elmo. Another interesting day . Jackie has us over to her place for dinner.
REMEMBER- It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
