March 17 Wednesday 2010 Happy St Patricks Day
We get an early start today , up by 6am and leave by 7am. Mountains and real trees are exciting as we have been gone since June 1 and the East of Canada and the USA does not have big mountains and tree like BC. Neither does the desert. A beautiful sunny day to enjoy it all. Weather held out for the hole in the slide. We park at a Wal-Mark for the night .We go for dinner at an AppleBees. Our first time in one. Very good food. We buy a new electric frying pan(I broke the lid on my old one . We also buy a new toaster at Wal-Mart. We traveled 528mi 850 k and got 11.9 mpg.

March 16 Tuesday 2010
I use Mcdonalds again after having breakfast at Denny's. We are off by 7:15
finally on I-5 . We pass many fruit trees,some bare branches,some blossoms and some in full leaf. Our windows are covered with dead bees. It was a balmy 77'. We traveled 505 miles at 13.8miles per gallon. After 9 hours on the road we stopped at 4pm in Redding in a TA truck stop for the night. We go for dinner there.

March 15 Monday 2010
Bill gets another taxi to get his truck. He gets back by 1pm $228 lighter. They also fixed the tire with a slow leak( a small nail). I am all ready to go so we leave at 1:30. We get as far as Mojave 226 miles 12.9 mpg. We park in a Denny's parking lot with permission and go for dinner. We will start with breakfast there tomorrow. Temperature got to 77 yesterday. I use McDonalds for my WIFI 2 doors down
