June 5 Thursday 2012 We are getting nowhere fast, one problem after another. Our coffee and end tables arrived in boxes and had to be assembled, and not from Ikea .Bill tacked the coffee table and one end table but the 3rd end table with a drawer proved too much so he returned it and is having them assemble. Next the kitchen dropleaf glass table has megga problems, as the leaves will not open on either side, a screw came out and one leg is crocked. A man came out today and took pictures and will see about getting us a new one. Then the satalite dish man came to hook up satalite and the power went out of 2 hours. He is back today and hopefully everything works . Out of the 7 pieces of furniture we order we had to send 5 back a mixture of wrong measuring( they did the measurements thankfully) and a misunderstanding. Needless to say Bill is not a happy camper. My saving grace is the grandchildren. Gerry picked me up and we went to Canada Day celebrations at Rocky Point Port Moody. A good time was had by all. They next saving grace is that our daughter who works on a yatch is arriving Friday for 4-5 days. Another help for me to get my mind off all the problems is I had painting classes in our garage that worked very well. REMEMBER-Give yourself a fresh start. Look ahead not back
