Today Bernice and I spend the day at the Living desert in Palm Desert. We hurry so that we can feed the giraffe at 10am. There is a new baby so cute. Next we scout out the African animals. They have a very large train display . They are G-gauge featuring one of the longest model trestles in the world.We hurry to the hospital area for a talk. It is great for the animals to have such a modern area to do surgery etc. We walk through different cactus gardens and end up in the North Americian animals. The Mexican wolves are especially beautiful. We go to the Amphitheater and are disappointed as we arrive one hour late. We miss a good show. I come at least once every year so know what I missed . It was Bernices first time. Oh well an excuse to return.
