Today Bill drives Nola and I to the old BLM land office where we meet up with the Coachalla Valley hiking club. 28 people car pool to Jushua Tree National Park where we hike 5 miles 700 ' elevation to the Contact gold mine. We see the liquor still of Sullivan's. He made more money with the still then he did with the mine. The leader, Linda from Edmonton ask me to be sweep (the last one in line ) After the hike we all met at a historic Oasis of Marsa hotel and restaurant The 29 palms Inn.
