We had a great Wednesday Sherri had dinner ready Gerry and Carter went to baseball Bill and I went with a brownie group to Semiahamoo Fish and game club and Little Campbell hatchery. We were surprised at the intelligent answers and questions they asked after a short movie. After each brownie got a fry to release we went on a short hike in the woods. Sherri and Gerry got a membership in Center Bay on Gamier. Eye appointments finished for now physical on Monday .

results in nice to know no cancer, no tumers or pinched nerves just old age. Bill would get pain in the legs when he drove too long or sits too long. other then that he is healthy. got recomendations to see a physio..Sherri is busy varnishing our boat. Safty weekend here next sail pass. Center Bay meeting tonight. all going well

April 10 Sunday 2016

Bill finally got his MRI- 9pm Thursday he got a cancellation . I was watching Carters baseball then baby sitting as Sherri had a Brownie meeting and Gerry had a Beaver meeting. Carter made 3 hits. I was home by 9:45 Bill didn't come home until 11:30. He got a parking ticket as they said it would be only 1 hour. He was not a happy camper. At least the weather is beautiful. My flowers are beautiful. I am got my hair cut Saturday . Sunday another baseball day that ended with a delicious steak dinner at Sherri's and Gerry's. Life is good

April 3 Sunday 2016

Saturday we went for a Red Cross CPR, & first aid coarse at the yacht club 9-4 .got to see a AED defibrillator. Very good coarse now how much will I remember?????We did get a manual. Everyone in the complex got new garage doors, with small windows. They give quite a bit of light. We got our car insurance for the year. Slowly getting things done.

We went to Sherri's for Easter dinner. She had 12 for dinner. Got my new bookcase. I hung the new paintings I did in Palm Desert. Sorry no pictures of Easter

Back home again. Thank goodness it is sunny and I have Carter and Madison for an overnight stay while Sherri and Gerry and Bill go down to the yatch club for a work party. Life is good. We went to the park behind us and I showed the twins Plein air art.

Where does the time go?????? Plein air was downtown Palm Springs in front of Sonny Bono statue. Great time people watching went to Lulu 's for lunch delicious.Thursday Maria and I went to the palm Springs art museum.

Wednesday I had 2 girls for a quick watercolour lesson. Friday we went to visit Jack and Renni in Desert Hot springs. They wanted to go to the Art walk so we went to Thi Smile for dinner and watched the classic car go by from our window seat. Then we walked El paseo. Today we are going to Corporate way for an Art show then off to Augustine cassino for their seafood buffet.

It's been a bad week our fridge bit the dust ( not freezing) and our dish washer is leaking on top of all that we forgot our daughter's 10th anniversery .

Today was plain air painting we went to Indio to the Corona Yacht club. This is a 20 acre private estate with a 2 acre lagoon. They used to race small boats here. Now they use it for weddings and private parties.

my ginger and licorice for the summer. Then Sunday sounds featuring Jerome Elliott a balladeer and Raconteur. Monday was domino's, Tuesday was Plain Aire painting we went La Quienta civic center ( beautiful landscape and gardens with pools. Wednesday I just stayed home and read. Thursday the painting group met and chefs kitchen where Sherman's Deli did a demo on chicken with clementine and Arak yum. Friday was crafty ladies and a lunch at the parks restaurant. Saturday I led a hike in Indian Canyon. John and Judi,Annette, Linda and I did Andres Canyon and the short hike to the waterfall near the trading post

Busy as usual weather warmer then usual but Bill doesn't seem to be complaining as much. No Sunday sounds so went down town Palm Springs for art show

in Stevens Park. Monday domino, Tuesday Plain air painting this time we went the bird sanctuary in Indio. Wednesday was a grocery shopping day. Thursday painting group met . I thought I was finished my giraffe but noted no ears????Thursday afternoon was chefs kitchen Wilma and Frieda restaurant was featured, they did grandma's meatloaf delicious. Saturday we went to La Quinta's art show and then dinner at Joe and Marias. Today Sunday sounds will features Rose Mallett a jazz vocalist.

Sunday was Sunday sounds , It wasn't too good. Monday Mexician train Dina came too . Had a the last happy hour for Hudson and Dina as They are moving to PicoPico near San Diego. They stayed one day longer because of the wind. Tuesday was Plain air painting at Vintage nursery

Wednesday Nancy and I went to the living Desert as we both had passes We went to the butterflies and did some sketching. Wednesday an art walk at Backstreet one their best showings. Thursday is painting at the club and Chefs kitchen in the afternoon. French Macarons & ganache. Too sweet for me but Bill liked them

Friday was a very busy day, attended crafty ladies until 10:25 when Bill picked me up to get Hudson and Dina from the airport. We decided to go to the Thai Smile in Palm Springs for lunch. Then we decided to go and visit the people from BYC in Tram View. Doug and Rosemarie and Wanda and Rob were side by side, so we caught up on who sold what boat and how much and who wasn't coming down South.

Saturday I decided to try Tai Chi in the gardens at Sunnylands. Bill came too and read a book.

January 26 2016 Palm Desert

Things are coming back to normal-Kids are home with the rain. Hudson and Dina followed as Dina is getting botox 

 for her migraines. We took them to the airport and will pick them up Jan 29. We are back in time to go grocery shopping then Mexician train in the afternoon. Tuesday is plain air painting. We go to Cabots museum in Desert Hot Springs. A great place to paint. I go to the pool in the afternoon. Wednesday I think I will go to the living desert then the pool again in the afternoon.
