August 20 Monday 2012 Back at the house as our furniture arrives all OK but one. Tuesday we get the kids for the afternoon while Sherri paints crown molding. We take Carter and Madison to Bear Creek park for a train ride ,water park fun and numerous swings etc. I baby sit at night for Gerry and Sherri s date night. Wednesday we get a slow start as Bill has to return to the house as he forgot his slow acting insulin (we are going boating for 2and1/2 weeks) The water proves pleasant. We check out Snug Cove on Bowen Island and there is no one there we have BYC spot to our self. REMEMBER-Live while you are alive.

August 19 Sunday 2012 Things are moving along. Bill doesn't have to put on the ultra sound machine on his break. They are satisfied that the leg is healed ,now only nerve damage to deal with. Saturday we put down the dingy and toured the end of the Arm. Royal Vancouver yacht club(Wigwam Inn), Iron Bay, and Granite Falls all had a good supply of boats. Sunday Returned back to house with hope of furniture on Monday REMEMBER-Your beliefs don't make you better person, your behaviour does

August 13 Monday 2012 Sunday we go to Britannia mines for a tour and an art show. Both very worthwhile. I baby sit at night. Monday Bill has his doctors appointment and they are very pleased with the healing. We visit a school chum in the hospital who isn't doing too well. Makes one really thankful for what we have. Tuesday we drive first to Blaine and birch Bay then off to Bellingham where Bill enjoys the West Marine store. Then we go to Trader Joe's. We also fuel up. No problems at the border even with a 6 pack of beer each. Wednesday our furniture was to arrive not to be. Bill is getting very upset. They promise it Next Monday so we will see. Sherri has a belated birthday cake for me.The kids helped to decorate it. We spend the night on the boat. Thursday we fuel up then go to Clemintine up Indian Arm until Sunday. Weather wonderful REMEMBER-live everyday as if it's your last chance to make someone happy.

August 9 Thursday 2012 We spent 15 consecutive days on the boat before returning to BYC. Bill has a doctors appointment for his leg and a testosterone shot. We will get a chance to be with the twins. We phone the furniture place and they will deliver the stuff Wednesday morning. Our time on the boat was relaxing. At Gibson's I got to have mussels and clams for my birthday dinner. Yum. Ekins was fun too as one day we watched 7 river otters frolicking. We had a thunder and lighting show Wednesday night. It was comforting to be tied to a dock. I painted one small picture and rock eyeballs for the twins for Halloween. The satalite dish didn't work and had to be rebooted back at the club. WIFI and the phone had no signal either. REMEMBER-Laugh uncontrollably, it clears the mind.

August 2 Thursday 2012 Gibsons We spend a pleasant 5 days at Center Bay. Clark and Shelia tied up to us for 2 nights and we had a good visit. We have been out 21 days. We were lucky and got a spot in Gibsons for 3 nights. Saturday is my birthday so we will go out for dinner. REMEMBER-The happiest people don't have the best of everything . They make the best of everything's

July 28 Saturday 2012 Bowen Island we had a good time on Bowen Island. Sherri and the twins came Thursday and we had a good time on the beach. Friday Bill took me for dinner at Doc's and Saturday we were here for the farmers market where I bough fresh home made bread. I went to the library to see if I could open pictures sent as an attachment of our time on the CV9 but no one knew how to unblock the security hot mail put on. Noon we leave for Center Bay weather great sunshine. REMEMBER-Believe in yourself and there is no limit to what you can accomplish

finally an update

July 23 Monday 2012 time to up date We got out in the boat for 3 days before our generator and alternator acted up so returned to BYC. Shannon had an open house on the CV9 while they were in Vancouver. I forgot my camera but Dina took pictures and I am waiting for them to email them to me. Ethan and Shannon left for Alaska with a stop in Princes Louisa,Ocean Falls and Sherawater before Kitchacan. The boss doesn’t arrive until the beginning of August. Our 48th anniversary was celebrated with Hudson and Dina at the Chelsea restaurant. Sherri made an ocean cake for Bill for his 70th complete with a salmon dinner.Saturday I went with Sharon to the fusion festival in Surrey ,quite a few countries were represented .Now an update on our furniture delima-they finally removed the 5 pieces of furniture that were not suitable.(We do not know when the correct stuff will be delivered but we said we will be boating now until September). We also returned the glass kitchen table and will shop for that in Sept too. We hope to go to Bowen Island for 3 days .Sherri will bring the twins and spend the night. Next Center Bay for a few days then Gibsons and Ekins. REMEMBER-This day is a door to a whole new set of possibilities- open it.

July 07 Saturday 2012 One wouldn't think more things could go wrong but they did. Our toilet doesn't flush properly. Plumber coming Monday. Good thing we have another bathroom. Shannon arrived safe and sound. Sherri cooked dinner ( I still do not have a working table). We had a great visit. Saturday my cousin Dwight was in town from Australia and his sister Shelly had a wonderful get together even my brother Mervin was there. REMEMBER-wishes are more powerful than worries
