sun sun sun it gets up to 88' (30)
We drive to Sedona and I check out some art galleries. Some lovely stuff and lovely prices. Next we walk all around Tlaquepaque. This is an old Mexico theme park with galleries, restaurants, jewelery and wearables. we really recommend walking around here some very neat stuff. I also recommend the restaurant we went to- Oak Creek Brewery.

Oct 17 Friday-Vegas to Sedona to our WH Camp Verde
8:15am 63'(17) sun sun sun
We leave the park turn right on Sahara then right on Boulder to hwy 95 then hwy163 to hwy 68 to hwy 93 and Laughlen we arrive here at 10am and it is 83'(28) already. It's a good thing we are in an air conditioned truck. At Kingman we take hwy 40 towards Williams and Flagstaff. We travel 3 distinct areas- the Mohave desert, beautiful Pine forest ,where I see 3 elk with huge antlers, then red rock country of Sedona. We take hwy 260 to find our park. After a short mistake down a wrong road someone directs us to our park.
We arrive around 3pm temp is 88 (31). Bill set up the satalite dish up with no problems so we watch the Globle news. I have WIFI inside my rig and should have it for some time as all the WH parks have free WIFI. Shannon also has it in her condo. Sherri phones to say that Carter and Madison might make it home on Monday. Hurray now I can watch them on Skype.

We stay another day only charged $50 with new Koa discount. Hot and sunny I walk the strip again . First I take the bus $2.00 all the way to Mandalay Bay. I check out the Luxor still love their entrance. Excalibur and MGM to see the live lions. Then New York ,New York and Monte Carlo with it's beautiful statues. I have lunch at the Bellagio after checking out the gardens and the ceiling in the registration ares beautiful as ever. Last but not least one of my favorites Caesars Palace.again wonderful statues and fountains. I take the bus back from here another exhausting day. I left Bill all day with the Bill Good show on my computer but forgot that it wasn't pluged in power so drained my batteries.

Oct 15 Wednesday 46 ' (8) sunny sunny sunny
Vegas is 124 miles we arrive at 11am 74'(23) wonderful. We join the Koa camp system ($18) as we can use it when we go across Canada too. The park is mostly rentals apparently from Israel. It is not very full. We have lunch then I walk the strip. A lot of changes since we were here last. Many buildings torn down and new ones going up. I checked out Wynn. They have a lovely entrance and waterfalls with a night show. (we didn't get to it)next time. I also checked out the new to me Patazzo. It also has nice decor. The Flamingo has a beautiful large garden with lots of birds well worth a visit. Paris Paris is a beautiful as ever with it's beautiful statues and fountains. Planet Hollywood next it is where the old Aladen was. They still had the rainstorm complete with thunder and lighting. Too tired to walk back so took the bus $2:00 . We go to CirCus Circus for prime rib ($11.95 ea) even get to take some home. I'm to tired to walk the strip and go to bed early. Must be getting old

Oct 14 Tuesday
it went up to 73 (23) and down to 45 (7)St George Utah
Surprisingly this WH park is full we are in the overflow area for 2 nights with power no charge. Bill unhooks and I take him on a wild goose chase trying to go to the visitors center on the south side of town but its not there so we go to Wal-Mart. We phone Vegas and book a night at Circus Circus a Koa. $63 a night and if you arrive before 1pm its $10 extra. We book anyway as we haven't spent any money on rv parks yet. We hope to stay in our WH park in Camp Verde for 3 nights and visit Sedona. We phoned and booked our WH park in Casa Grande for 2 weeks Oct19-Oct30 (confirmed) I never fail to admire the beautiful red rock country.
