We go to the huge swap meet one day and walk around the Bahia marina another. Wednesday we take Shannon to the hospital around 5:30am and she gets out around 5pm . Everything went fine they found 2 cyst instead of one. She was feeling sore so she decided not to fly out with us but to stay until Wednesday. We had a good flight back to Seattle where Ethan picked us up and showed us the latest improvements on the boat. We stopped in Mount Vernin's Walmart and got some groceries then the duty free store at the border and were home in Surrey in no time flat. REMEMBER-It's never to late to be happy. But it is up to you and no one else.

Opps I forgot a day

Sunday we took the water taxi and drove the inter coastal waterways going past many million dollar home that are empty as they are vacation homes. We have lunch at the Cheesecake factory on Las Olas.

REMEMBER-true friendship comes when silence between 2 people is comfortable.

March 25 Monday 2013

Yesterdays we drove to the largest outlet mall in the USA Sawgrass Mills. Good thing Shannon knew where she was going. We have watched 13 cruise ship come in so far.

REMEMBER-go often to the house of friends for weeds choke the unused path.

March 22. Friday 2013

We drive to Seattle Wednesday and Shannon gives us a tour of the boat while they are doing renovations. We get the red-Eye flight to Fort Lauderdale. Shannon's kitchen and bathroom renovations turned out great . Will take pictures tomorrow. We take a quick nap and go grocery shopping. Friday we drive to West Palm Beach for their boat show as Shannon has to order first aid medical bags for the boat. We go to the largest West Marine store in the US as Shannon wants to buy wet gear for the boat. She gets everything shipped to Seattle. Weather is perfect.

March 3 Friday 2013

We left PS 6:30 AM- 61'we were in Barstow  in 2 hrs. Kramer Junction in 1-1/2 hrs .(148Mi) We get onto I-5 and 46- 4- 3/4 hr 288 mi. Bill does very well and drives until 5 pm and stops in Cornering. A stop at the Olive pit was a must.  We drove (634 mi.)

Friday after breakfast in the motel we are on our way. 7Am 58'.

We stop at Centralia 62' 552 mi We had a half hour wait on the freeway while they cleared an accident. Then went through a 10 min downpour. Seattle is only 85 mi. For tomorrow.

REMEMBER-for every minute you are angry you lose 60 seconds of happiness.

change of plans

March 12 Tuesday 2013

We have a change of plans as we are leaving Palm Springs early Wednesday morning. Shannon has asked us to go to Fort Lauderdale with her so We will drive to Seattle and fly together March 20 and be back by March 30. We will get to see all her renovations on the kitchen and Bathroom. We will be baby sitting April 26 -May 8 when Sherri and Gerry go to Shannon's condo. Well we had our first earthquake here in Palm Springs 4.7 We were inside a mobile home when we heard a loud bang then a shake or 2. We have been busy looking for a place to rent for next year. I think we found one in this park so I am happy. We have a couple of other places to look at here in the park too to make sure. We did the Art walk thing again last week enjoyable as always. I went to another demo this time graffiti art using spray cans very interesting. We are busy packing and trying to fit in 3 large things I bought, a large pottery bear and a large vase as well as a globe. Linda had the gardener come and they took out a lot of trees including the 2 large palms. She want to make it low maintenance. I think she has it rented long term. I will miss the grapefruit but I think the place I am looking at has a grapefruit tree too.

REMEMBER-Happiness is a function of accepting what is.
